The Ironclad was a class of ship that was built in Wilmington’s Beery’s Shipyard during the Civil War. Ironclad Brewery was established in 2014 in a building that dates back to 1925, located in Historic Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Ironclad beers have a complex journey from grain to your glass.
Since 2014, we’ve had the incredible joy of hosting hundreds of unforgettable events! From engagement and rehearsal dinners to stunning weddings, corporate gatherings, non-profit fund, and fabulous charity galas, each occasion been a celebration to remember!
What a great hidden gem in Hampstead. What do you get when you combine a micro brewery with great eats on a 18 hole golf course. An amazing experience. Wife and I just rolled into town and this was perfect. Combined one of our favorites, Shaka Taco with brewery. Tacos were flavorful, queso and chips was awesome. The chilis were pretty darn good to wash it all down. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
